Horvault Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Snowpery mobile application and website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Service.
1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive your basic profile information from those providers.
User Content: Videos, photos, and text you upload for AI processing and sharing within the community.
Location Data: GPS coordinates during active sessions for performance tracking, trail mapping, and speed analytics. Location data is collected only when you actively record a session.
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, app version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and troubleshooting.
Usage Data: Feature usage patterns, session durations, and interaction data to improve the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Service, including AI video processing
- Process GPS data for performance analytics and trail maps
- Personalise your experience, including weather forecasts for your location
- Communicate with you about updates, features, and support
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues
- Comply with legal obligations
3. AI Video Processing
When you use our AI video editing feature, your footage is uploaded to our secure servers for processing. We use machine learning models to identify key moments, tricks, and highlights. Your original footage is processed and the results are returned to you. Original footage is automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of processing completion unless you opt to store it in your cloud storage.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Service (cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing)
- Other users, when you choose to share content publicly or within the community
- Law enforcement, when required by law or to protect our rights and safety
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, regular security audits, and intrusion detection. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. GPS session data is retained for your analytics history. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses essential cookies for functionality (authentication, preferences). We use anonymous analytics to understand how the Service is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
9. Children's Privacy
Snowpery is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. International Data Transfers
Horvault Limited is based in Hong Kong. Your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence, including Hong Kong and other regions where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
